Quality Policy

At Novi Chemical Company, quality is the foundation of every shade we develop and every lot we ship. Our customers in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries depend on color that is accurate, consistent, well-documented, and safe—and we hold ourselves accountable to that standard.

01 Customer Focus

We begin with a clear understanding of each customer's requirements—target shade, application, and regulatory context—and we engineer our colorants to deliver shade accuracy and batch-to-batch consistency. Our applications and technical teams support formulators through shade matching, custom dispersions, and rapid sample development so that programs stay on track from concept to launch.

02 Regulatory Alignment

We operate our quality management practices in alignment with recognized standards, including ISO-oriented quality management principles and the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) appropriate to cosmetic and pharmaceutical colorants. We provide regulatory and compendial documentation on request and support our customers' compliance with the requirements applicable to their products and markets.

04 Traceability & Change Control

Every lot is traceable, and changes are managed deliberately. We maintain batch-wise documentation, full lot traceability, and robust change control, and we issue change notifications so that our customers can manage their own validated processes without surprises. We support customer and third-party audits of our quality practices.

05 Stability & Performance

Color must perform across the life of a product. We provide stress-tested stability data and develop colorants for application performance—such as tint strength, dispersibility, and bleed and migration resistance—so that finished formulations remain accurate and stable in use.

06 Sourcing & Suppliers

Quality extends to our supply chain. We qualify and monitor suppliers, apply a supplier code of conduct, and pursue material transparency so that the inputs to our colorants meet the same standards we set for our finished products.

07 Continuous Improvement

We treat quality as an ongoing discipline. Through internal review, corrective and preventive action, and process improvement, we work to reduce variability, prevent the recurrence of issues, and raise the consistency and efficiency of our operations over time—while reducing waste and improving our energy and water footprint where feasible.

08 People & Responsibility

Quality is everyone's responsibility. Our personnel are trained for their roles, responsibilities are clearly defined, and management is committed to providing the resources needed to uphold this policy. Every member of the Novi Chemical team is empowered to raise quality concerns.

09 Implementation & Review

This Quality Policy is communicated to all personnel and is supported by our quality management practices and procedures. Management reviews the policy and its objectives periodically to confirm they remain suitable, effective, and aligned with the needs of our customers and the requirements of the markets we serve.
